It takes three weeks to build a habit.

Today is February 6— well over three weeks since the start of the new year. Well over three weeks since you got rolling on your resolutions. Well over three weeks since you set all your 2018 goals. Well over three weeks since: “New year, new me!”

So, how is your habit-building coming along?

Technically by now, this habit should be a part of you. You should be doing it on a daily basis without thinking. But we all know staying on track when the “resolution buzz” wears off is much harder than it looks.

If you truly seek change and want to build — and stick to — positive habits, here’s where you need to start.

First and foremost, positive habits need a reason to form in the first place. They have to have roots somewhere. Those roots are your end goals.

You get to those reasons by setting specific, achievable end goals.

End goals don’t have to have a time limit, but they must be specific and must be achievable.

What do I mean by this?
